Still life project for Art Theory class. We were given the assignment yesterday, and it's do later this morning; so less than a 48 hr. turnaround. I'm going to estimate that it took me about 12 hours to complete. Not too bad for not having done a still life since freshman year in high school... and that one sucked.

Scanned in four pieces... so it kinda lines up funny in some places.

Throw some critique my way. I have my list of what I think is wrong with it, but I'd like to hear some more.

13" x 16". Graphite Pencils.

Superbly detailed and stylized. I love the forms and tones. Well illustrated.

Thanks. This was fun because it was out of the ordinary. I don't usually sit down and do still lifes.
no problem! you deserve it.
if you go outside of what you usually do, than you may just like it enough to widen the circle of what you usually do.

Right you are. Tried watercolor... loved it, and now do it. They just handed us acrylic paints in art theory and said paint, project is due monday. I'm loving the acrylics. So never be afraid to try something new.
Thanks. I didn't know still lifes could be so fun.
You're welcome.
